Led lights under kitchen cupboards

Trying to figure out what my electrician has done (can’t get hold of him anymore). We asked for him to wire our kitchen for some under cupboard LED lights when the whole house got rewired. He’s place three wires coming out of the walls in the kitchen under the appropriate cupboards for the LED lights. In the other room we have a mains box and about 16 fuse switches on the wall below it, there are two fuse type switches on there. One is named LED driver the other is named LED outlet. LED outlet has the 3 wires from the kitchen terminating in it and two other wires which are mains cables. These both come back to the switch fuse switch next to it which has 3 wires 2x the mains from led outlet and 1 which is the power in/ out I am guessing. What was he going to do? Place the driver here with the fuses? Typically as far as I am aware drivers normally sit closer to the lights?

Hi there, what should of happened or still might be able to happen, the drivers may be able to sit above the kitchen wall hung units and a cable come down from there? If what your saying is that the cables coming out of the walls are below the wall hung units then possibly he was going to mount the drivers on the underside of the units.

I hope this helps.

Depends on drivers but I'd probably put the drivers at max like 2 meters aways , if he's wired to a switched fuse that will be your on off switch for them but make sure it has a 3amp fuse in
