Can I extend a toilet fill valve which is external to cistern?

The flexihose in my bathroom does not reach the fill valve for the new toilet I have 'fitted' (not fitted as not connected!). Does a part exist that extends the fill valve below the cistern another 2 inches so I can connect everything back up? I would usually change for a longer flexihose but the isolator/other end of the flexi are very close to the wall and do not look like they would be easy to change. I am reluctant to remove as I wouldn't be able to turn my mains water back on until I resolved the issue!
