Exterior door bricked up?

Hi if materials are dated it may be difficult to find an asthetically pleasing alternative. it isnt a difficult job to brick up the hole left when door is removed it is however difficult to match to exsisting materials

Swollen bricks?

Sounds as tho the brick have been affected by damp or frost , a cut and fill approach is required ie take a patch out redo and allow to set and then move on to next effected area its very important that the areas effected are properly replaced and underpinned with slate if required and solidly pointed back in
