I started in the construction industry in 1987 as an apprentice glazier after finishing a toolmaker apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
After qualifying as a glazier I took further training in glass cutting & replacement window manufacture. I turned self employed in 1990 during the last recession.
Since then I have been self employed in various roles working in the construction industry. I have also worked in a FTSE 100 company to learn project management and in 2008 worked for the country's top building conservation company.
I started Vitruvian Restoration Ltd. to reflect my wide & varied experience with all things building. Whilst I specialize in conservation of old buildings, my experience lends itself perfectly to almost every aspect of construction. Our specialties and experience have been proven over the years to be nothing but the best and whilst we may not be the cheapest, the saying of "one only gets what one pays for" really is true.
