I've been in the construction industry from leaving school and working for my father in his own building firm .
I'm able skills construction trained bricklayer,city&guilds electrician,site trained roofer,plastering and paving etc

To do a artex ceiling it's a faster and a better finish if you reboard it with plaster boards and then skim. typically this kind of job doesn't get priced by a square metre as it depends on how high the ceiling is.
It's the plasterers job but most competent builders can do it .
It all depends on what kind of hedge and if the waste needs removing .
