I am an experienced handy man that covers everything from guttering, roofing, kitchen fitting, conversions, painting/decorating, carpentry, door hanging & much more. Specialising in bespoke works we can help you with any works that you need doing either domestic or commercial

History:

I have been operating in the Birmingham area for the last 4 years and cover all areas across the Westmidlands. Prior to that I lived in the Sussex and Surrey area of England and undertook all and more of the services that I offer today.

I am here to fulfill your home improvement needs. I can undertake many tasks around the home whether it be home improvements of completely refitting your kitchen or bathroom to simply hanging a picture or putting up a shelf and anything inbetween. Painting/decorating or carpentry work making bespoke furniture.I am here to help with whatever you need.

I also Undertake projects outside of the home from clearing overgrown areas of your garden and disposing of the waste to upgrading your garden Decking and replacing/buiding Garden Sheds.
I can build your garden shed from the bottom up completely bespoke and fulfilling your exact needs. Once we have isolated your needs I will design your shed and construct it in your garden.

Answers:

Deposit for bathroom refurb?
The main point is that if you are getting the tradesman to purchase the bathroom suite for you that you cover the deposit or cost of the purchase as and when he or she does that. that way it is covered if you decide to back out of the bathroom refurbishment. otherwise, if it is a big job which requires several days of work up to a 10% deposit could be taken to cover any cancellation on the customers behalf. this varies from tradesman to tradesman or company to company.
Would you recommend underfloor heating in a bathroom?
It really depends on the set up of your bathroom ie is it downstairs or upstairs and how easy it would be to set that up. again, there is a point on insulation of the room and whether it would be cost effective to set up under floor heating. it could be a good idea but it would be variable from job to job and i would advise once more specifics were gotten.
Best paint brand for rental refresh?
The best value is dulux. it may seem to cost more than other brands of paint but due to the fact that it is a better quality paint you will need to apply less coats which will save you time and money. again due to quality you will get the best look and finish with dulux. main thing to bear in mind is that you buy the right paint for the job which some people over look in kitchen and bathrooms which can cause paint to flake and not last. make sure you look on the tin and use the right one.

The best thing to do is to use a steamer and scrape it off the walls as you scrape off wall paper. in terms of preparing the walls all you need to ensure is that there is a smooth surface with no residue left on the walls and that any holes or plastering which may need to be done depending on the age or the condition of the wall is completed.
