WE operate a general building service and have been in construction for thirty years.
We specialise in kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment.

History:

I started my own business a couple of years ago and before that have been in construction since leaving school some thirty-five years ago, working on various sites throughout the region, before deciding to try it alone, been going well now for two years and thought I would try out these sites and see what kind of response one gets, as this seems to be the way things are progressing over the last couple of years. re tiled bathroom (Tiling)

Answers:

Yes you can but it is a bit of work to what we call feathering in.
Yes you can but it does depend on how thick the aertex pattern is , sometimes its easier to take down and start again
Depends on whos getting rid of old ceiling if got asbestos you will need to use a specialist company to remove it.
as for re boarding and re plastering all ceilings hard to say until it been estimated.
Try using a watered down pva to seal artex, this will also help plaster to stick, takes a bit of work though. sometimes its easier to overboard.
Get a plasterer to go look at it , probably need new ceiling
