About Us:

Hi I am Bob and I have been in the tiling trade for 40 years. I am honest and reliable and can provide references from many happy customers and builders. My work includes ceramic, porcelain, mosaic and all natural stone tiling. Fully insured.

History:

I started working for a friend of when I was 18 and enjoyed tiling straight away. He worked for a company in Plymouth and after a couple of years they started to give me my own work. I then worked for a tiling company in Exeter for about 5 years and then one in Paignton for another 5 years. By then I was getting so much private work I decided that was what I enjoyed most and have carried on like that right up to this day. I do most of the bigger tiling jobs with my youngest son Dean who started helping me out when he was 14 to earn some extra money. Came with me full time when he left school and stayed with me until he was 24. We work independently but get together when needed to get work completed more quickly for our customers.

Can You Tile Over Tiles?
It is fine to tile over tiles. the only proviso would be to make sure they use powder adhesive not ready mixed because the ready mixed is not strong enough for large porcelain tiles.

You have to take out the grout with a grout rake and re-grout.
Where to buy bathroom tiles
I can get my customers 15% discount in topps tiles. two good sites online are tile mountain and walls and floors. both reasonably priced and free next day delivery.
Is it a good idea to tile over tiles in a bathroom?
Absolutely fine. prime old tiles with acrylic primer. then fix new tiles.
