Leaking in kitchen ceiling (Plumbing)

“We had radiator pipe leaking as a result of my previous builder's mistake. They refused to come to fix even though they provided 12 months guarantee. I had no choice but looked for some other people to help. I felt very fortunate to meet Matthew. He came as early as he came because he knew I couldn't use boiler as a result of the pipe leaking. He came in the evening and fix the leaking. I really appreciated his help and will certainly ask for his help in the future. Highly recommended. ”

“I am very satisfied with Matthew's job. He's very polite and professional. He gave an advice what to get before he came and installed a radiator. ”

“Matt advised on the job promptly at all times,he turned up when he said he would and then efficiently carried out the job and then he went to great pains to explain how it all works I wouldnt hesitate in recommending him.Michael Mill Hill ”
Cut one tile to shape (Tiling)

“Matthew is brilliant. He first gave me advice by email, then came a long way to do a very small but difficult job for me. He went to every possible length to get it done right, even spending his own money to go and get the right tools when his were ineffective, and was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”

It's possible that the thermostat was wired in incorrectly and has blown pcb, this would need further investigation to confirm this.
Nothing is out of hours for me, if you have an issue call me.
It is possible to tile over tiles with the right primer and as long add tree original tiles aren't loose. however with heavy porcelain tiles i would always remove the old tiles.
The gas valve could have been tested without replacing the electrodes. don't think there's a con going on though as it could have been a simple mistake if the electrodes were also faulty and the plumber presumed that was the only fault.
