About Us:
Hi I?m Chris self employed decorator with 18 years experience in the decorating industry extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of
decorating internal external wallpapering, airless spraying,
Stripping old floorboards and finishing
History:
Started decorating 18 years ago, over that period of time I’ve switched more to spraying walls and woodwork as opposed to
using a brush and roller, as I believe it offers a superior finish
to brush and roller, however certain aspects. Of decorating
I would still use a brush and roller.
For example a hand painted kitchen when a client doesn’t want
a factory sprayed finish, also some people prefer a brush and roll
finish on walls especially older and period house
Answers:
Yes that would be about right
Hg mould spray might remove these yellow stains however it might discolour the paint,
have you tried a strong degreaser with a green scouring pad to dissolve the stain
as for touching up gloss paint on marks, genearally if you want a uniform finish on the shelves
then you would need to redo it all again, unless your not fussy that it is a uniform finish.
not recommend unless possibly it was a rental property for example!
Sikkens satura is excellent, caparol pu satin is excellent use it with there haftprimer primer from paint shack or the very very best is benjamin moore advance satin or scuff x the best satin paint bar none on the market
Use a high quality paint like tikkurrila anti reflex or superwhite, medium pile purdy white dove roller add floetrol paint conditioner to emulsion so that the paint drys very slowly thus eliminating roller mark, don't press to hard on roller and don’t run the roller dry and roll in one direction with 50% overlap
