Hello, I have worked in the construction industry for over 21 years employed and now as a sole trader carrying out such works as Plumbing/bathroom Re-fits, Decorating, Patio's, Fencing, Gardening, Carpets, Stud Walls, Clearance. Maintenance, Flat Packs, Blinds, Rails, Handles, Pictures & much more
Over the 21 years I have worked in the construction industry I have worked with Plumbing & Heating Engineers, Brick Layers, Carpenters, Plumbers, Painting & Decorators, Builders, Fencers, Roofers & Handy persons.
I have learned my experience from all these trades over the years.
I started off sub contracting work from Insurance companies.
I have also worked with social housing, the elderly & vulnerable for a company and continue to do so as and when needed.
My main work is now as a sole trader of Allfix Handyperson Service and offer a quality, reliable, friendly, honest service. I'm not happy until your happy!
I personally like white gloss for doors and skirting. dries harder and cleans marks of easier
Yes you need to clean of mould first then stain block or cheaper option gloss over mould patches then paint.
Yes you need to size the wall first. i.e watered down mix then paint on or you can use pva, watered down. if you don't it will use more paint and peels like skin.
It all depends on the job. if they are building a bbq in the garden there is not much that can go wrong.
if they are removing a supporting wall then i would definitely request to see there liability insurance or company/number.
Either end of the season. so october, november depending on weather. or before the new season feb, march depending on weather
