About Us:
I am a very experienced time served kitchen fitter and have been fitting kitchens and bathrooms for over 15 years, but I have over 30 years joinery experience. I have fitted kitchens in some very expensive properties and also in some lesser expensive homes. Check my website for past work.

History:
I have been fitting kitchens and bathrooms mainly on a self employed basis in domestic properties and on site for over 10 years, although I do have 25 years plus joinery experience. I have fitted kitchens for Tolent, Carlton and George Wimpy developments plus many others. I also fit flooring, skirting, doors, decking etc.
I have built conservatory's including brick dwarf walls and timber framed. I have also built spiral staircase's made from redwood timber and steel. The last 2 projects mentioned do take time and are not reflective of the work I do these days for customers as they take too much time, unless the price is right of course.
My main strengths and area of expertise are my kitchen fitting/joiner abilities.

I am self taught mainly, although I do have O'Levels in Design and Tech. I have learned from seasoned joiners and on site over the years and from my own family and work colleagues. You never stop learning!
My family are builders and roofers and my parents used to own a builders merchants in Sunderland (Pickersgill's Builders Merchants) which was setup by my Grandad who was a roofer and carpenter by trade, and my uncle who was a Plumber. I learned from an early age how to cut and handle wood, and was taught how to use the workshop machinery from early on by my Grandad and his staff.
When I was 18 I built electric guitars and I learned from there how to be delicate with wood and fine craftsmanship.
Unlike other Joiners I try not to spread myself too thin and do everything. I like to specialise on kitchen fitting and associated jobs. That way I am sure my customers would agree they get much better value, and real quality workmanship.
