Hi, my names Richard and I have been involved in construction fo the past 20 years. Im a qualified Architectural Technician but enjoy getting my hands dirty! I've covered all aspects of handyman & property maintenance work such as decorating, assembling flat pack furniture, basic plumbing, garden clearance, lawn cutting, bush trimming, shed assembly, patio laying, Please feel free to get in touch

Holdfast Handyman operate from their base in South Gloucestershire all over the Bristol Area. We offer a quality service at an affordable price and will take on any tasks, no matter how small they may be.
The company is run by myself, Richard Smith. I served 12 years in the British Army (Royal Engineers) getting involved with construction tasks over the world. I left as a qualified Architectural Technician, however as a child I always watched my dad carry out DIY tasks round the house and as I got older helped out and learnt skills from him. Its these skills and ones I picked up in my service and more recently in the construction industry that I really enjoyed, so Im going back to my roots and do what I enjoy the most - working with my hands; building, repairing, maintaining in the home and garden, all with the satisfaction that comes with a job well done and Holdfast Handyman was born
