About Us:

Hello all... I am a general builder, roofer and tiler. In the last few years I have been splitting my time between France and the UK primarily doing a complete fit out on a eco widebeam canal boat and two campervans. In France I have primarily been tiling in luxury chalets in the ski resorts around Morzine.

History:

I have been tiling for over 10 years and have a very high attention to detail and finish. Currently just going to take on tiling jobs in the UK between contract jobs in France. I have extensive experience with walls and floors with kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms in ceramic, porcelain and natural stone.

Kitchen tiles - Tiling job in Bristol

“Tim was great. The Mexican tiles were quite fiddly and he made the ones under the wood burner completely flush with the floor. Super pleased, would definately recommend. ”

Answers:

Sounds like bad workmanship i am afraid. there is no excuse for not making small cuts or worked out at the beginning where the tiles would of sat so that you would not have required a small piece. as you mentioned the grout does not look good, i do not think in terms of damp will be a problem but may need to keep an eye on it, cheers tim
Hello, there are special primers for tiling over tiles - you do not need to roughen first. then can just use standard floor tile adhesive, cheers tim
