I started in the trade 11 years ago working as a labourer for Imperial Drylining. My polite and eager manner gave me the opportunity to then be trained in the profession i take so much pride in to this day. I have worked along side lads on site for big companies aswell as by myself. I am trying to get myself established now with getting small private work as well as working on site. I am in hopes that through my eagerness, polite manner and professionalism i will be able through recommendations grow my business fully.

They should only be skimmed if using a square edge board. personally i would say use a tapered edge board, and have it tape and jointed as plasterboard unless damaged is deemed a finish product
Plasterboard is a finish product in itself so your builder has done the correct method, aslong as he has used 2 coats minimum and is sanded properly. it won't crack as like i say aslong as the jointing has been done properly. hope this helps
