I have since branched into commercial plumbing and heating to learn and understand more about the industry I’m in. The change has been good for knowledge and personal growth giving me invaluable skills in dying art forms of our industry. Is required during a service or any routine work to the gas pipework within the property. e.g. removal of boiler or cutting in a new feed for an appliance as in fire or cooker
Depending on system that you have either a system boiler or combi there could be either a cold water back flow into the heating mains issue or your expansion vessel is losing its charge and making the system pressure rise or it’s a cold filling loop left open slightly allowing water to trickle in
You could fit a cold water boosting pump to allow for greater cold mains pressure or convert the system over to a pressurised one depending on your area cold main pressure
