It depends on how wide the roof is and if it has a single slope, try the tile system and put it horizontally, riding about 70mm each strip. if the width of the roof is 3m you will lose 1m to the roll
If you can find you gas meter plot12/flat12 will be verry good, if not, check if all flats have independently the gas meter if not, call the rent agent and tell him to come with a gas agent and find the solution.
