Hi if oranges still showing , need a primer paint to cover 2 layer, that’s what i do then the choices of colour, you can check out my profilo work. you just need a priming over orange walls then your paint colour. hope this helps

wait 3 days is ample however, if the walls are not completley dried back then give it a few more days. mix matt emulsion 50/50 i always advise to do two coats. and once dry one full white coat. then paint in the color of your choice.
