You would only need one litre for the required amount of work

I would not recommend this as the bucket would over fill

The correct way to do this is sand all surfaces prior to any painting and clean all dust off the surfaces before painting

The prices of basins vary depending on whether it is a vanity unit or pedistal

Shower door rattles when closing
You may be able to purchase a rubber trim to stop the rattling
