History:
I have been established for just over 4 years. My business is busier than ever, i try and take on most that i can to get the work done for the customers. I work solely so i can only take on so much that i can handle on my own. I have been doing painting and decorating for 3 years before then i did few handyman projects. And gardening and cleaning services. But now i only focus on the painting and decorating side.

I have self taught myself on my skills and qualifications , and worked with my grandfather and family that did similar trades in the past.

If the painter and decorator has relevant skills they would. but otherwise they would only prep the skirtings boards to a clean face then paint to high standard.
It all depends on you want the worksman to supply the paint/ meterials or not. i would recommend a day rate on this kind of work . roughly painters charge from between £130-£190 a day. and roughly works 7-8 hours that day.
In my experience i would put a oil based primer to act like a barrier . because most cases the mould solution can react with the wallpaper adhesive.
