Over the last 14 years we have undertaken many projects, from little shed bases with 6 slabs up to 3/4 month long projects, we have had many ups and downs, good days and bad days but the end result even now still blows me away.

As long as there is access to the hole you should be fine, failing that you can get a reinforced concrete biscuit that will make the outside smaller and will fit a square recess cover.
