To fix exterior peeling paint, you need to scrape off all loose paint. for this, you should use a scraper to remove the paint, a wire brush to sweep away remaining debris, and fine-grit sandpaper to smooth away the surface.
A 2.5l tin of paint should be plenty to paint 4 doors.
Some exterior paint advertises itself as self-priming but remember that your patio slabs are a high-traffic area, then after this you paint, then finally seal it.
