I would personally get door frames painted beforehand
Using normal emulsion in kitchens normally show those signs using the right paint for kitchens will not let the moisture into the walls
I would use 5lts for the 4 doors if different colour would need more than one coat for good quality finish
In my experience frog is ok to leave in place and taken up after finishing second coat
