About Us:

we’re a local decorating business and we are offering a 10% discount off all labor costs if you’ve booked in with us before the 31st of march. We offer discounts off labor twice a year to try and help out those who are struggling with the cost of living crisis and for those who just generally don’t have the money to hire a decorator, watkins painting and decorating has been running since 2019 and we enjoy what we do, we enjoy seeing the finished product and we enjoy leaving each job with happy customers.

Whole house - Painting & decorating job in Uxbridge

Answers:

Mould in corner of bedroom wall.

Remove the mould and add an anti mould paint i’d recommend using zinsser perma white mould resistant paint

I’ve personally used zinsser cover stain to go over rust and it’s covered perfectly so i would recommend trying that

Query about Doors

If the oak doors are going to be natural then paint the frames first but if they’re going to be coated in some kind of oil or wood stain then it doesn’t really matter because it creates a layer on the doors so you’d be able to wipe any paint of them

Outside wall of house the paintwork is bubbling and flaking?

Scrap all the loose paint of as far as it will go and apply a coat of peel-stop allow it to dry then put a thin layer of exterior filler on the are once that’s dry paint over it
