There was a serious leak from the upstairs bathroom in the ceiling of the kitchen. In order to find the source of the leak, we had to knock down part of the ceiling. All the woodwork and plaster were completely sodden and had to be pulled out. So there is now a large gaping gap. Its likely that the whole ceiling will need to be replaced. The ceiling area is approximately 1.5 x 1.5 meters

two bedrooms wood walls needs to be removed and replaced with plaster board and two concrete walls on either side need to be skimmed. I just want the rooms prepped so I can have them ready to be painted myself. Removing wallpaper from the internal wooden walls proved to be difficult and it would be much easier to just replace these with plasterboard. Removing the wallpaper from the concrete walls in the same rooms also started to take off the plaster so just wants that removed and skimmed again.

Wito's young mate did a satisfactory job on both. Just ensure everything is covered up well beforehand. Wito also arranged for Mariusz, plumber, to replace a leaking water pipe with new copper pipe section and replace ball valve in cistern. The work was done well, but took longer as suitable connecting section had to be found.
