Don't think the tiles would look right but it would be completely up to yourself we would make it work if you really fallen in love with tiles would recommend taking all old tiles off and starting fresh with the tiles you fallen in love with would be a much nicer finish not so miss match
Would cost around the £14000 mark depending on medicals used and what design you wanted might need planning permission before work could commence
Carlton is a very high end bath and armitage shanks baths are not to bad there is lots of different choices so they both are good carton not heard to much about tho
Would recommend priming fresh plaster before painting and will help with overall finish if painted straight on to new plaster can cause blotchy roller marks
