You should have the windows fitted first. this will allow a better finish up to the windows. same as if you were decorating internally as well.
This should be mortar between lintel and brickwork
Yes this is ok. as long as the brickwork is solid and has no movement to it
Check under the floor as it may be wet. or you may have a leaking pipes.
