Clean guttering
Drainage & Guttering job 16 miles from Lower Edmonton in Mitcham
the guttering needs to be cleaned out as we had heavy rain a few weeks ago and there was a lot of water coming down from the window cill above the guttering and possibly causing a leak. Mathew & Sons were hired for repointing work, clean gutters and drainpipes and to fit chimney caps. They came with wrong size chimney caps then tried to persuade me not to bother capping them. It has since come to my attention that the repointing work is still NOT finished. Further, I now see that the drainpipe is still slightly leaking which he says he threw in a clip (costing a mere £2-£4) to fix the problem as it was bowing and not properly aligned. On contacting him his response was, we didn’t quote you for all that work, and all he says he is prepared to refund is £40 out of the money paid. He also keeps asking me to remove the review left as its ruining his reputation and to date I have not received the £40.
