Our loo cistern is overflowing, the Torbeck valve is knackered but we would like to replace it with a more reliable system, cost permitting.

It is in our en-suite and access to the cistern is fairly concealed, there are tiles and some plywood around it which will need to come off to some extent.

Would prefer to save costs so instead of replacing the whole unit i just want someone to put a more reliable system in and patch up the area (dont mind if it is a little rough, i can get tiler in later) and test the system to it is working perfectly again.

As the cistern is overflowing and some water is gently flowing out the overflow pipe outside the property this job is pretty urgent so if someone could get back to me quickly that would be greatly appreciated.

PROCESS:
Freeze water supply, carefully gain access to cistern and replace Torbeck valve. Once complete to check for correct function and no leaks. Patch up access area.

I cannot speak more highly of Henry. Friendly, polite and professional. He worked efficiently and his problem solving (when another plumber had told me this was a huge job and quoted several hundred pounds more) was first rate. I had to scoot out to work just as he was finishing the job & I felt 100% happy about him finishing the job without me there. He left ?10 extra i had overpaid him in a safe place for me and called me to tell me he'd finished the job and tested it thoroughly! Superb.
