A builder/electrician has now wired up from the main meter to the fuseboard in our stables. This was cut off due to a fire at the main meter some distance away.
Now it is wired to the Stables Fuseboard, we need an EICR for the Stables, and the supply serves the caravan behind. I need to know if this is acceptable and if it is, then a further eicr would need to be provided by the owner who lives in this caravan.
Evenutally the main meter will also serve a workshop/storage building when it is rebuilt. So all of this must comply with the safety standards.
We own the Stables and the new building due to go up, but we do not own the caravan or the land it is on. If there is any question that the supply is going to far away from the main meter, then we will need to terminate his supply.
