The box is self-cleaning and self-flushing, it needs to be connected to the mains water outlet in the bathroom. Will need a t-piece to plumb into the cold water inlet, the mains water pipe I have is braided screw connector. The waste pipe needs a unrestricted smooth flow into the waste pipe from the CatGenie (there's a technical manual on the manufacturer's website)
