Loft and extension work, builder dies of RTA. What can I do?

The contract is for 2 bedroom loft conversion and 6 meter rear one storey extension. Builder dies while almost completing loft, yet to start extension 70% of money paid already, how can I get his insurance company, wife claimed not to know anything about her husband's business, what can I do please... Am living in the living room with family of 5 because all bedrooms and new loft is yet to be plastered and bathroom needs fixing and plastering.

Not sure but if he had public liability you may be able to go down that route

Even that the owner has passed away the workforce that works for him and his wife will obviously will oner and complete the project and build as the business still caries on with the company workforce and will complete the current tasks and projects that are outstanding and currently working on.

if the builder member of any organization such as FMB you can go directly to them , also refer to his public liability which you should received it in the same time with the contract
