We are in the process of thinking about / gathering ideas for a potential loft conversion. Obviously I realise that there are a lot of factors that cause the length of time to vary, but on average how long does a loft conversion (2 bedrooms & 1 wetroom) take?
Between 6 weeks and 3 months dipends on size and design.
Depends on size of job and any special requirements. For a loft in a semi with good access and no ensuite etc about 3-4 weeks
hi if you allow 4-6 weeks this should this should be ample time to complete inc dormer if no dormer 3 weeks.Have you considered using tele beams worth a google we have done a few lofts with these although a bit pricey they do sped the job up
A loft converstion on average can take 6-8 weeks depending upon alot of factors, planning approved, party wall agreement in place and signed.
Problems found to the building whilst carrying out works.
We need planning permission.
Structural engineer details
Party wall agreement if necessary
Time for loft convention 9-12 weeks
Depending on many factors to time scale.
Skylight dormers with staircase and bedroom normally take 15 to 20 days.
Full dormer could take 6 to 8 weeks depending on internal finish wanted.
It could be one side of gable wall may need extending at the apex.
Hi, roughly 6-12 weeks. This is very vague and of course depends on things like specific project requirements, party wall agreements, building control, etc, etc
on average it should take 8-10 weeks maximum allowing for wastages and delays thanks
5-6 weeks the builder will need to finish a loft conversion(off course the size is a factor to ).
an average loft conversion will normally take 5-6 weeks however the size of the dormer and interior work can vary and see it go considerably over the time in question. To be exact we would have to come and measure the loft etc to give a accurate estimation.

lotf conversion 2 bedrooms and wetroom in average take 3-4 month
We can complete a standard loft conversion(2 bedrooms & 1 wetroom) in as quickly as 4 weeks and this may vary with the size and may complete in 6 weeks. We value the time of our clients and aim to minimise the disruption to family life this means most of the project materials and procurement are planned for in advance to minimise lead times.
as you stated it dependes on how much detail is going in to the finish but an avrage loft converstion can take up to 8 weeks but most 6 weeks
avarage time would be 4/6 weeks
Hi rouglhy should be 8-10 weeks. Depend on finish standard inside I mean just painting or extra bespoke furnitures etc
Mc London Builders
A lot of varying factors like access, existing single storey or higher but allow 10 weeks if access etc not too onerous.
6 weeks although it can often be completed in 3 weeks
Hey! Regarding your question check out the photos on my profile, Iv just completed a loft conversion. depending on the size it shouldn't take that long if your living in a average sided house. I done one in a stately home in cowbridge and that took 12 weeks, and there was no access to it before we started!
Once the attic is cleared you can start framing the frame of the roof in no time, then it's down the the insulation, boarding and skimming before adding the finishing touches like your wet room ect :)
its all depends of the project itself, if is occupied it will take longer, average time for loft conversion is 6weeks
on average 8-10 weeks incl. plannings etc..
Loft conversion could take up to 12 weeks depending on size of propertys an if the degree of the roof has to be changed for dormers ect
Average time wuith 4 people it will take around 2 months to complete finish !
An average loft conversion would take between 5 and 6 weeks complete
This should take NO longer than 4 weeks from start to finish including decorating
