Replacing or removing a shower pump?
I currently have a Grundfos Super Selectric shower pump, type STC 1.5 C. It works fine in terms of water pressure, but it's very noisy (similar noise level to running a hoover) so I need to either replace it with a quiet pump or remove it completely and replace the shower with an electric one (or similar). We have a cold water talk in the loft and a hot water tank in the cupboard next to the pump. Any advice would be appreciated! Ideally we want to still have a good level of water pressure when we run the shower, but the noise issue is the main concern at the moment. Thank you!
You can replace pump ,best on market are "salamander"they works quiet and are powerful to so if you like keep good pressure keep pump in

I would replace with a new Stuart Turner pump these are the best on the market and are comparatively quieter and you could also put it in the loft . electric showers will not give you the pressure you require or are used to. regards Steve
