I have an old Atmos multi 24/80 boiler and I need to replace the 3 port diverted valve but it is only a three wire valve. Can this be replaced with a 5 wire valve and not use the orange and grey wires? Alternative, could someone suggest a 3 wire valve that could be used please? Thank you.
The most common problem with motorized valves or actuators is the motor itself .this can be replaced as a separate part ,if the valve itself is not moving then the body will need replacing.
Yes I am sure it would ok as long as insolated correctly but normally 5 core will be used for the switch lives with a grey and orange
Yes, just ignore grey and orange wires. Best to cut and isolate ends with tape...
Go to Wolseley store and aske them. They will help you with this
