Hi i am David have been plastering and general building for 12 years am passionate about my work and enjoy a challenge can plaster,tile built conservatory on listed buildings, extensions patio and paving, painting and decorating there isn't much i cant turn my hand too

Cost to plaster over artex ceiling?

I personally would charge on day rate as it would work out cheaper then pricing per square metre as most plasterers charge 10 per metre square or 12 pound per meter including materials

How to paint fresh plaster?

Fresh plaster will need a 50/50 mix of white emulsion and water to allow for a key for the final coats of paint

Is plastering over existing plaster possible / sensible?

It can be done by unibonding and scraping back the artex buy in my professional opinion it is best to overboard as a lot of artex contains asbestos

Best way of removing artex?

Scrape and unibond it but this system can still fail so overboard

How much to plaster skim 3 rooms?

1 bag covers 10 square meters so you would have to measure each wall length x width to achieve the square meterage and then it gives you the meterage at 1 coat of plaster
