About Us:

Hi I'm a 38 year experienced plasterer I work for many established building contractors with very high standards plus a private school college,refurbishment and new works undertaken with all other trades covered if required, I pride myself with my work as references reflect

History:

I started my apprenticeship in 1980 as a plasterer on refurbishment on houses from there around 1998 I moved to civils started as a concrete finisher and after many years learning that trade became a sub-contactor building water treatment works office blocks etc then back to my passion plastering,to date I have 15 barn conversions under my belt plus a very large number of houses mansions etc

Answers:

New plaster sanding

Hi i would sand the worst of it first then mist coat that will give you a general look at what it will look like before the finishing coats go on

Plaster on top of lining paper

The lining paper should be removed first then works can go ahead

Plastering over wooden window frame

Hi plaster can't go on timber unless you plasterboard it first
