Hi, it isn't a great situation for you. you can more then likely get around it with a quarter-round strip of upvc trim and then a professionally applied silicon top and bottom. probably take about 1.5hours for an experienced person to do, or longer if you are not experienced.

Hey, no issue laying over tile but use a fibreboard underlay (easy and cheap to get). this will absorb issues. use a step down edge trim available at flooring company or diy store. easy job :-) good luck
Hey, fan must be 2.4mtrs above the floor and should be out of reach of splashes. make sure the fan is rated for a bathroom (ip44 min on the unit / box). it must be fitted with an isolator switch for safety and best linked to lights if fitted with a time delay. cheers. good luck
Hi, you really do need to be qualified to do this correctly. there are building control regulation issues and well as health and safety. the electrical work may cause other issues elsewhere in the installation that could (theoretically) even cause a fire. if you ever had an issue your insurers would certainly not pay up and even selling your house may become an issue if you cannot provide a minor works certificate for the work.
it's a quick job so fairly cheap to get someone to do it and certify it for you.

All aesthetic, unless you are a dirty family that doesn't clean bathrooms!! get the lookyou want and make sure it is expertly fitted, you will have no issues. cheers
