Does fuseboard need replacing?

A fuse board does not need to be replaced due to its age. if & when the installation undergoes an electrical inspection & test, it is then found to be non-compliant with the british standards' minimum requirements, then & only then will it need replacing.

Bathroom Light issue

The common cause of flickering lights that also go out and come back on is a loose connection. if it is only at one light, check the connection at light fitting and switch (with circuit off and circuit tested to be dead)
