It’s perfectly fine if you have a new bs consumer unit if you have the old style it’s worth replacing won’t be a large cost.
£50 roughly providing there is the right equipment in the garage.
This could be a problem of a cable being snagged somwhere which cuts it out or wrong connection so could be an easy fix
I’ve done a few of these now and i charge a standard of 1 day fitting 2 depending on run but £150
£60 £10 for item £50 for labour
