Demolish & remove small garden shed - Demolition & Clearing job in Cardiff

“Great fast, consistent, communication throughout, good timekeeping, did the job efficiently as we’d discussed, & cleared up into a skip organised as part of the quote. Definitely recommend & will keep in mind for future work.”
Knock kitchen partition wall through and replaster - Demolition & Clearing job in Cardiff

“Very nice and knowledgeable bloke. Knocked through a partition block wall, replaced the plasterboard ceilings in our kitchen and fitted some new sockets for us. Would be happy to have David back in for further work.”
Excavate crawl space under house to create cellar - General building job in Penarth

“The work was challenging requiring a space to be excavated by hand. This was done and then a very neat job of boarding the walkway and shelves was completed. We are very pleased with the result. A daily rate was quoted for the job and it was completed within the broad budget indicated. I can recommend 1st Fix solutions for this type of work. ”
Build front porch including steps and pathway - General building job in Cardiff

“I found David to be friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. He was quick to attend and deliver his quote. Good standard of workmanship and was willing to take on other small jobs that weren't included in original request. He also replaced a 12 meter garden fence with new feather board fencing. I was kept fully informed about small problems that could not have been foreseen. Very satisfied with final result.”

Answers:

No .you have to dig the floor out to 10" deep or 250mm to lay 50mm of scalping/hardcore then 100mm kingsland or similar insulation then 100mm of concrete or if using concrete and screed then 300mm to finish top floor level with a liquid screed or similar
