Have they checked if there is any saddle on any of thesewerage pipes sometimes people do a botch job of fitting a saddle and push the 40mm pipe in to far causing a bkockage internally is the bath slow to empty ?? if this is the case i'd say that is your problem strange it's in the hallway tho hope this helps
