By the sounds of it, the new consumer unit has either rcd protection or rcbo protection. this means that it will be detecting a fault in the circuit which causes it to trip. personally i would say that this is a fault with the oven as you have to turn it on before the switch trips. i would recommend getting someone to find and repair the fault on the oven, or just simply replacing the oven.

Roughly what i would personally expect to pay to have a shower pull cord replaced is the cost of the pull switch itself plus £30 but some electricians may charge more and some may charge less. prices will vary dependant on a tradesman’s travel distance and make of pull switch used etc.

For an electrical test (eicr) you should expect to pay around £120 for the test to be completed. most times this will not include the cost of repairing any faults.
for a consumer unit change i would say around £360+ dependant on the size of consumer unit needed and specific protections (rcds rcbos spds etc) to be put in place. but note that not all electricians will be willing to change a consumer unit if an eicr has been completed and is unsatisfactory unless they are hired to repair the faults aswell. this will in turn make the cost higher
