Some cases you wold need council permission depending on lotion as cost wise it wold depend on materials used you would need to get a quote to get a price
Recess can be fitted in line with the flagging aslong as the right procedures have been takin with the old lay out this could mean applying a course of brick cement in the holes it leave there are a few methods to take with this sort of job but it can be done
This is not a problem aslong as the block that goes all the way to the house is levelled away from the property which means any water will run away into the drain system he has installed it’s ok to cover up air vent half way aslong as he leaves enough room to ventilate the house am guessing the block being so high up the wall is due to the level of bock getting the water to run away get a bucket of water and pour it on the block and see what way the water run if it goes towards the house get him back out it should all run into the drain system from both sides of drain
If the gap from the house to the edging is filled with a concrete finish then it will fill up with water if it’s soil or some sort of drainage stones the it will be ok it all depends on the surface and what it’s payed with
It’s the company’s fault if they claim be a driveway company then then they should know there will be waste pipes underground ground clay or plastic you can judge we’re the are by the pips going into the ground and we’re the waste grid i on the street 9/10 times these pipes will run under the driveway and be made of clay if it’s waste these don’t have a clue what there doing when there digging out
