Cost of repairing pull cord switch?

Hi there,

the problem could be anything from a loose connection in the switch or even a faulty switch, not easy to tell without taking a look of course. i'd recommend having the switch changed, the materials should cost between £8-£15 and i'd estimate the labour and callout to cost about £40. in total i'd say for £50-£60 you could have your problem solved but that's specifically if the actual switch is faulty, the deeper the issue the more expensive it would be to fix unfortunately.
