I’m an electrician originally from Essex and now relocated to Leiston Suffolk and pride myself on my quality of workmanship and professionalism. My Journey as an electrician started back in 1997, when i started on building sites in and around London, working on projects like Canary Wharf, Harley Street Hospital and Nike Town.
My Son, Archie now training to follow in my footsteps and one day, taking over the company rains works along side me when not at college.

This sounds like the spring inside the pull cord has failed and requires replacing. cost of pull and labour would be around £60
This could be a fault with the heating element within the oven that is causing the mcb/rcd to trip out.
This would need investigating further. could be a loose connection within the pull cord or even a burnt out cable causing the issue. has the correct cable size been used for the kw loading of the shower. if not over time the cable burns out causing a fault
I recommend this being change. as this could causing arcing over time if the switch has not energised correctly. potential fire hazard if left in a stuck position
