Packing gland leaking it can be tightened normally if not a new valve required
You could possibly have a air lock on system
or possibly a blockage in pipe work
i suggest venting system of air. if that fails try power flush

Use the same pipe work and fittings used on installation ( solvent weld )
They need to be 15mm pipe with 150mm centers
Shower is faulty if you have power from switching to shower and the shower not coming on the switch at shower could be at fault or possibly wire in shower come out either way you need a visit from qualified tec to determine wire or switch
