We agreed a daily rate however Alan frequently arrived at 10 and rarely lasted a full day. He never actually managed a full week and the job significantly overran and has not been finished after 3 months. We went away on holiday and were told the painting would be done but whilst away, Alan took his tools and is now uncontactable. He did strip the walls and filled in holes but created such a mess that our house is full of dust, he also failed to re-connect electrical appliances. Avoid
