wallpaper paste is suitable for use with non-woven wallcoverings, which includes many types of lining papers, such as Fibreliner.
Before applying the paste, be sure to read the manufacturer's instructions on both the Solvite wallpaper paste and the Erfurt Fibreliner product you have to ensure you are using the correct method and any specific recommendations. Following the manufacturer's instructions will help you achieve the best results in terms of adhesion and longevity of your wallcovering.

Yeah, that's fine as long you mix it to the correct texture. It should take a couple of seconds to drip off the brush.

I've used it with Wallrock lining paper for years and had no issues

While Solvite wallpaper paste is a popular choice for conventional wallpaper, it's crucial to follow the manufacturer's recommendations when dealing with specialty materials like Erfurt fibrelining paper. The recommended adhesive is specifically designed to work with the unique properties of the material.

Using the wrong adhesive may result in poor adhesion, difficulties during installation, or an unsatisfactory outcome. To ensure the best results and longevity for your Erfurt fibrelining paper, it's advisable to use the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer.

If its ready mixed yes. The fibrelining paper is 'paste the wall' so you can use any ready mixed paste will be OK. Don't use the mix it yourself wallpaper paste as this is made for 'paste the paper' wallcoverings.

While it's generally best to use the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer for Erfurt fibrelining paper, if you're in a pinch, Solvite wallpaper paste can be used as an alternative. However, make sure to check the compatibility of the paste with the specific type of fibrelining paper you have and follow any additional instructions provided by the manufacturer to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of your wallcovering.

It's generally best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations when it comes to adhesives for specific types of wallpaper. Using the recommended adhesive ensures the best results and longevity for your wallpaper application. However, if Solvite wallpaper paste is compatible with the Erfurt fibrelining paper according to the manufacturer's instructions, then it should be suitable to use. Always double-check the compatibility and application instructions to ensure a successful installation.

Best to use a ready mixed paste which can be used as a Paste the wall technique.
If walls are subject to a lot of small cracks then Erfurt recommended cohesive may help to give a smoother adhesive finish behind the lining paper.
