Need to refurbish my bathroom. The work includes, removing the drywall (water seeping), waterproof(tanking slurry etc) and installing tiles directly on the brick wall. Tiling to be done on the walls, floor and under the bathtub too. Install a bathroom vanity unit (will buy this one if required) and a wall mirror. Will need to paint the ceiling with anti mould paint. Can show and describe what needs to be done when you visit. Would prefer somebody registered with the appropriate building organizations. Need the builder to have insurance, will not use somebody without insurance. I am free in the evenings after 7 on weekdays and always around on the weekends.

Fraudulent Romanian builder. Tried to cut corners and when I started inspecting and asking him to fix things, wanted to increase the quote, then what we had agreed on. I told no and he stopped coming to finish the work. Shoddy workmanship to say the least.

Hired Dawid for a full mid-size bathroom refurbishment. It's only been a few weeks so I can't comment on long-term durability, but I have to say the transformation is excellent. The finish is very good too. Dawid was always happy to explain where he was at throughout the duration of the job. Communication was great. Took 25 days or so, but that is to be expected with one person and with a bathroom that hadn't been touched for 10 years! Highly recommend

We are looking for a downstairs toilet to be fitted under the stairs. Some of the work has already been completed as part of some refurbishment works carried out a few years ago but were never fully completed. The soil pipe has been laid under the kitchen floor, the vent pipework has been run in the ceiling void and the door has been installed. We may need the electrics and gas pipework moved to make room for the toilet and then the toilet and basin fitted/plumbed in. Light fittings and vent to be connected, wall board and ceiling fitted. We would also like cupboard doors created for the remaining space under the stairs. The bathroom refurbishment works are to remove the existing suite, wall tiles and flooring then install a new suite in different configuration. Install new wall tiles and flooring.

Kitchen ceiling below was flooded, lights in wrong place, tiles uneven, grout splashes left, exterior pipes left secured with nails instead of clips, shower tray left filthy and slanted away from the waste, but worst was a bathroom light was left with earth and neutral wires swapped even though they said they had checked it. Etc, etc.

Very pleased with the bathroom refit. Old suite removed and replaced, but with only one toilet in the house Darren made sure that he always left the toilet functioning, over bath shower fitted, with pressure pump under bath, tiled around wet area and half way round remaining area, floor tiled. Darren worked alone and always left everything tidy, he didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't want or need and was helpful in suggesting suppliers. Darren is reliable and a nice, easy going guy.
